The Freshman Steps Up
Braxton Miller Leads Bucks to Big Win Over Colorado,
37-17
After a lackluster performance against
Miami, the Buckeyes were looking for something in the equation to
change. That change came in the form of freshman quarterbach Braxton
Miller - and he didn't disappoint. He was obviously nervous in the
early going, looking for the run first with hardly a thought to
passing. He ended the game as the leading rusher on either team with
104 yards. He completed just 5 of 13 passes for 83 yards, but one
was a beautiful 32 yard connection for a touchdown.

press questions after the OSU-CU game. (Columbus

The Buckeye's win was certainly aided by
a large number of CU special teams miscues including a kickoff that
was returned for a touchdown by Jordan Hall, a muffed fair catch
inside their own 20, another fair catch at their own five yard line,
and one punt that traveled just 16 yards. Miscues aside, OSU was
clearly the better team in almost every phase of the game. (Highlights)
The game stats were not as uneven as the
score. The Buckeye offense had 110 yards through the air and 226 on
the ground for a total of 336. Meanwhile, the Buffaloes put up 238
yards through the air but only 76 on the ground. CU had three
fumbles and lost two of them. (Box

Michigan State Is Up

The Buckeyes start conference play by inviting
the Michigan State Spartans into the Shoe. Kickoff is 1:30 mountain

MSU stumbled agains Notre Dame while the Bucks were embarrased by
Miami. The Bucks will play the game without its suspended players

year.
